Penske Truck Rental Teams With Support Military Spouses for Military Spouse Appreciation Day

Diane and Dr. Steven Rumley, co-founders of Support Military Spouses, stated: "With the assistance of Penske Truck Rental, we have a goal of collecting boxes for military spouses. We are so pleased that Penske has continued to support our mission of providing a small gift of kindness to those that love and support members of our nation's armed forces."
The North Carolina-based non-profit, , is the country's only program dedicated to collecting and distributing shoebox gifts to military spouses. Support Military Spouses works in conjunction with the military to distribute shoebox gifts to spouses, which include: a short note of encouragement from the sender, inspirational materials, beauty products, notepads and inexpensive jewelry.
Penske Truck Rental joins a number of other leading organizations involved in supporting this effort including: Chick-fil-A, Walmart, Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, Leith Auto Mall of Fayetteville, Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, 96.5 Bob FM, 107.7 Jamz and International Minute Press.
