(TSX: ICS) ("Intrinsyc" or the "Company"), a leading Android software solutions provider to the global mobile and embedded device community, today announced a software license agreement with a major Silicon Vendor for RapidRIL telephony technology. The Silicon Vendor will integrate Intrinsyc's RapidRIL software into its market leading cellular modems for use in smartphones.

The Radio Interface Layer (RIL) is a layer in an operating system which provides an interface between telephony applications and the modem in devices that needs wireless connectivity such as smartphones, tablets, e-readers, and other connected mobile devices. First Quarter 2012 Earnings Announcement and Conference Call
The Company will release its fiscal 2012 first quarter financial results on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (1:00 p.m. Pacific Time).
