Cinedigm Names Larry McCourt Head of Software Sales and Marketing
Former Sony Executive Will Focus on Worldwide Software and Technology Opportunities
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- Cinedigm Entertainment Group, a division of Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) has named Larry McCourt Senior Vice President of Software and Sales Marketing. The former Sony executive will report to Cinedigm's President of Software, Jim Miller. Most recently, McCourt was the leading National Account Sales Manager with Sony Digital Cinema.
At Cinedigm, McCourt will be charged with expanding and strengthening a worldwide client base for the company's software products, including theatrical exhibitors and distributors, as well as intellectual property owners.
In addition to Sony, McCourt's years of experience in both exhibition and distribution include management positions at Nielsen/EDI, AMC Entertainment and ten years in theatrical sales and distribution at Savoy Pictures, Gramercy Pictures, Live Entertainment and Artisan Entertainment.
