(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 -- The American Marketing Association Houston Chapter's annual Crystal Awards final entry deadline is April 18, 2012.The entry fee is $90 for members and $110 for non-members for each submission received by the deadline of 4:00 p.m. There are 70+ categories in which to enter marketing projects and campaigns, including Branding, Marketing Research, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing Campaigns, Collateral, Direct Marketing, Online and Social Media, Interactive and Multimedia, Packaging and Promotional Items, Graphics, Trade Shows, Displays, and Events. A panel of distinguished marketing professionals from outside the Houston area scores entries to determine finalists and winners in the various categories. During the 26th Annual Crystal Awards gala on May 17, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency, finalists will be honored and winners announced. The gala evening includes a networking cocktail reception and viewing of the finalists' entries followed by seated dinner and entertainment. Last year's Crystal Awards drew a record number of entries and a record attendance of 550 that included Houston's top marketing professionals who came as finalists, sponsors and guests. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports AMA Houston Gives Back, the chapter's philanthropic arm that provides grants for qualified marketing-related endeavors of local non-profit organizations, helping them to better serve their communities.
Crystal Awards sponsorship opportunities are still available and start at the $600 level.
