UHF Gen2 RFID Tag for metal provides long read range around metal environment
Ordinary RFID tags is often not suitable for using on metal due to its short read range, but the tracking environment is more or less around metal. In order to help the above process, DAILY RFID has recently released UHF On Metal RFID Tag with long read range up to 5 meters.Compliant with EPC Class 1 Gen2 (ISO18000-6C) protocol,it can be directly used on metal and performs well in harsh environments.

In order to help the above process, DAILY RFID has recently released UHF On Metal RFID Tag with long read range up to 5 meters.Compliant with EPC Class 1 Gen2 (ISO18000-6C) protocol,it can be directly used on metal and performs well in harsh environments.
With its self-adhesive 3M Glue or screw holes on two sides, this passive UHF on-metal RFID tag can be directly attached to metal or containers of liquid. As a result of its special housing material and design,it can provide read range from 1m to 5m around metal environment. Besides, data maintenance could last as long as 10 years.
As to operating frequency,this mount on metal RFID tag can be customized to cater for the actual standards in different countries, for example, 902-928MHz in USA, 868MHz in Europe and 950MHz in Japan. Besides, it can sustain temperature down to -40 Celsius degree and up to +90 Celsius degree.
With the advantages mentioned above,these Gen2 RFID tags for metal have been successful applying in tracking under metal environments, such as blade servers, network equipment or mobile IT assets such as laptops and other handheld units.
