TruStone Financial to Host Grand Opening
(firmenpresse) - PLYMOUTH, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 04/06/12 -- TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union will be hosting a Grand Opening to celebrate the remodel of their newest branch location in Northeast Minneapolis. TruStone is a rapidly growing credit union, opening four branch locations in three years. The new branch is located at 301 Main Street NE in the Ukrainian Center.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on April 20, 2012 at 9:00am and will be attended by TruStone's Board of Directors, the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce, Minneapolis City Officials, local business owners and many invited guests. TruStone will host a community picnic in celebration of the grand opening on Saturday, April 21 from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
In December 2011 TruStone began remodeling the newest branch location. The branch remained open for business during the entire renovation process, which was more than just a facelift, as every part of the credit union was upgraded. An ATM was added onsite with 24/7 walk-up, deposit taking access. The branch office has an open concept floor plan boasting a teller pod for transactions, three member service desks, an expanded waiting area, and large exterior windows. The interior remodel reveals a modern design and image consistent with TruStone's brand.
The branch was originally home to Ukrainian Credit Union, which merged with TruStone, Minnesota's fifth largest credit union, on July 1, 2011. TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union (formerly Teacher Federal Credit Union) was founded in 1939, has $710 million in assets and over 59,000 members at their eight branch locations throughout Minnesota. TruStone is a not-for-profit financial institution that provides a full line of banking services in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud areas.
