The Series B SCHWINGMETALL® mounting elements are low-cost and easy to mount
(PresseBox) - Efficient and easy to install: the Series B mounting elements from ContiTech round off the supplier's Classic Plus range. Marketed under the SCHWINGMETALL® brand, the new elastomer mounts allow for good acoustic decoupling over a load range of 20 to 500 kilograms. These mounting elements are particularly well suited for mounting engines, power units, switch cases and cabs.
The Series B SCHWINGMETALL® mounting elements are offered in three standard sizes, each in three Shore hardnesses. So the new series makes for nine different new products. The mount elements, each of which consists of two elastomer components and a small steel pipe, are not just inexpensive. They are also easy to install. One central bolt is all that is needed to fasten the mount. During mounting, the two rubber bodies are counter-tensioned. The length of the inner sleeve exactly defines the degree of pretensioning. The design ensures that the component parts are resistant to tear-off and capable of withstanding pressure, shear and tension.
