Fortegra Appoints Arun Maheshwari to Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - JACKSONVILLE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 03/30/12 -- Fortegra Financial Corporation (NYSE: FRF) today announced that the company has appointed Dr. Arun Maheshwari as an independent director to serve on its Board of Directors.
A technology and financial services expert, Dr. Maheshwari brings over three decades of experience to Fortegra's Board of Directors. Dr. Maheshwari, currently a private investor, is the former Executive Vice President of Fiserv, a leading provider of financial services technology solutions, where he was also Founder, CEO and Group President of its subsidiary, Fiserv Global Services. Previously, he served as Vice President of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Founder and CEO of CSC India. CSC is a global leader in providing technology-enabled business solutions and services. Prior, Dr. Maheshwari was an integral part of McKinsey & Co.'s insurance practice in New York and held senior executive positions at Reliance Insurance and Continental Insurance.

Dr. Maheshwari received his Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, his MBA from Columbia University, and his PhD in Business from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He will serve as a member on the Compensation and Governance Committees of the Board.
