MEDIA ALERT: SchoolReach Executives Available to Discuss Its New Anonymous CyberBully Hotline Program as Release of "Bully" Movie Opens in Theaters
(firmenpresse) - ST. LOUIS, MO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/30/12 -- With today's release of the documentary movie, "," executives from the , a service of , are available to discuss the newest solution school administrators are turning to, to help students combat bullying behavior.
The CyberBully Hotline is a new program designed to help eliminate bullying in schools. The anti-bullying program provides an anonymous, two-way reporting system -- either text or voice message-driven; school and student educational materials; and a bully prevention Resource Center.
The importance of this school resource is its ability to support all stakeholders:
For school administrators - they can't help if they don't know about it
For students - they can take a safe, and anonymous stand against bullying
For parents - they can protect children from ongoing bully and cyberbully incidences
"There are many forms of bullying and harassment that take place between students. Depending on the situation some students may not want to come forward face to face. Having an anonymous reporting process is another avenue we can offer our students and parents to help them resolve their issues," said Tony Glass, superintendent of Platte-Geddes School District in South Dakota.
With the theme "Do Something About It," the CyberBully Hotline program gives the latest technology-driven solution to those school administrators looking for an easy-to-implement anti-bullying resource. The CyberBully Hotline offers an automatic number for students to call or text anonymous tips to, and it includes a complete program, complete with influential, anti-bullying posters and wallet cards that create awareness of the school's own unique telephone number.
