Michaelle Jean Foundation to Kick-Off Countdown to Canada's 1st National Youth Arts Week
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/30/12 -- On April 2, 2012, the Michaelle Jean Foundation will join musicians, slam poets and young Canadian leaders to kick off the national countdown to Canada's first ever National Youth Arts Week. Designed to celebrate the unique ways young Canadians are using the arts to build a better society, the Week will see hundreds of young Canadians host events in their communities.
Featuring speeches from the Rt. Hon. Michaelle Jean and Jean-Daniel Lafond, as well as performances by a stellar line-up of performing artists, the event will take place on Monday April 2, 2012, between 7:00 and 8:30 pm at Club Saw, Arts Court, 67 Nicholas Street, Ottawa.
