Washington Marriott at Metro Center Is Official Hotel Sponsor of National Cherry Blossom Festival

Running through April 27, the hotel will be washed in a pink glow with bright exterior lighting and cherry blossom decals throughout the inside and outside of the building. The will also be offering specialty cherry infused items on Fire & Sage's "Cherry Picks" menu, designed to spread the spirit of the festival and tantalize guests' taste buds for the five-week Centennial Celebration.

Drink specials include Cherry Mania, a cherry martini made with cherry infused vodka; the Cherry Blast, a cocktail made with cherry infused whiskey; in addition to the popular Sam Adam's seasonal Cherry Wheat Lager. Beginning at 7:00pm every evening, the and participating "City in Bloom" buildings throughout Washington, DC turn on their lights in celebration of the festival and its events featuring contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty, and community spirit.
