Win-Back of Phoenix Health Plan Contract Includes Addition of Statewide Services; Contract Marks Largest Total Transit Deal to Date
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 03/27/12 -- Total Transit, parent company to Discount Cab, is proud to announce the win-back of a contract to provide transportation management services for Phoenix Health Plan (PHP), the state's third largest Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) health plan. Total Transit will not only resume providing services in Maricopa County, which the company had previously provided for over seven years before losing this contract last July, but Total Transit will also begin providing services statewide. According to this expanded agreement, Total Transit will increase its reach in Arizona to begin providing service for PHP in Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Gila, Apache, Mohave, Yavapai, Coconino and Navajo counties, at roughly 22,000 trips a month.
