are aluminum one- and two-piece designs which can be mounted directly onto a shaft or axle and feature permanently affixed steel targets that are accessible from the face or O.D. Unaffected by oils and coolants, these are ideal for new and retrofit applications and allow using a variable reluctance sensor.
Available in 11 standard sizes from 1/2" to 3" I.D. with 2" to 5-1/2" O.D., and target spacing depending upon size, Stafford Rotary Encoder Collars can also be supplied in custom sizes. Special finishes and bore sizes up to 10" I.D. and O.D. sizes with targets to match specific customer requirements are offered.
