The expansion recognizes that AtHoc IWSAlerts' unique multi-channel communications capability meets the DoDi 6055.18 mandatory requirements for an emergency management installation that reaches all personnel within 10 minutes or less. In addition, AtHoc is the only EMNS solution on the DISA Approved Product List (DISA APL) with the Army's enterprise-wide Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) and Authority to Operate (AtO). As a result, AtHoc's EMNS has given these newly added sites Full Operational Capability (FOC) of mass notification systems (MNS) that meet the Ft. Hood Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) requirements in the Ft. Hood report well before the 2014 deadline.

AtHoc IWSAlerts is now protecting over 90,000 Army personnel at 38 installations and organizations, fulfilling military operations' requirements for the use of , response tracking and reporting, and regulatory compliance. Personnel accountability is accomplished through the system's bi-directional capability, allowing personnel responses to notifications in real-time. Protection has also been extended to the family members of service personnel stationed at Fort Bliss and Fort Riley.

AtHoc IWSAlerts also provides additional operational efficiencies:

Command enterprise solution architecture - Deployment by Army Materiel Command (AMC) and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) serves multiple AMC and USARPAC locations from a centralized enterprise-class system, avoiding the need for each organization or installation to deploy and maintain a separate, independent system.





Consolidated telephony alerting pool as per Installation Management Command (IMCOM) - Multiple IMCOM installations share a large, combined pool of telephony lines, facilitating telephone notification to thousands of personnel within minutes.

Cross-domain alerting to all tenants - Deployments at Fort Riley and Fort Bliss enable tenant notification via a variety of networks, including operational units, hospitals/clinics, schools and family members.

This major expansion has recently been extended across the Army to include subordinate installations of the Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Army Materiel Command (AMC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other organizations within the Army. It is in-step with the following installations and organizations that implemented the system during 2011: HQS U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Fort Sam Houston as part of Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Buchanan, Fort Hunter Liggett, Camp Parks, Fort McCoy, U.S. Army Garrison Livorno, U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr, the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), the Program Executive Office for Missile and Space, the 160th Special Operations Aviation regiment (SOAR) and HQs United States Army Central Command (ARCENT), in addition to deployed forces in all four service branches and NATO partners in Iraq and Afghanistan Camp Eggers and Camp Oqab, and the US Military Training Mission-Saudi Arabia.
