SCI Scientific Communications & Information to Present at 8th Annual ISMPP Meeting
(firmenpresse) - PARSIPPANY, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 03/21/12 -- SCI Scientific Communications & Information () announced the group has been selected by the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) to deliver an oral presentation on April 24 at the 8th Annual Meeting of ISMPP.
This year's ISMPP meeting, "Practical Solutions for a Complex Medical Publications World," is designed to highlight the key challenges medical publications professionals are currently facing and provide solutions to help resolve issues and manage processes, while operating within the realm of best practices in achieving the society's collective end goal -- the dissemination of clinical-trial-associated data that will support clinical decision-making. The conference will be held April 23 to 25 at the Hyatt Regency on the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD.
SCI Scientific Communications & Information's presentation, to be given by Carol Hudson, senior vice president, group director, will focus on the utilization of and attitudes on technological advances in medical publications. The group's presentation is one of five chosen, via a blinded peer-review process, from a total of 32 submissions. These presentations represent the very best of the entries -- in terms of high-quality and innovative research, with results that continue to reinforce the value offered by medical publication professionals.
ISMPP (), established in 2005, is the only not-for-profit organization founded by medical publication professionals for medical publication professionals.
