International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement Announces 2012 School and Exhibition
87th Annual Event Will Feature More Than 180 Classes and 40 Workshops
(firmenpresse) - NORMAN, OK -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- The International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) will be held May 15-17, 2012 at the Cox Communications Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This year marks the 87th annual event which has been presented in affiliation with the University of Oklahoma since its founding in 1924, and which is acknowledged as one of the oldest and largest hydrocarbon measurement schools in the world.
For 2012, over 180 lecture classes and 40 hands-on workshops will be offered on a wide range of hydrocarbon gas and liquid measurement as well as flow control topics. In addition, more than 120 educational exhibits will be presented by leading manufacturers serving the measurement industry worldwide. There will be unique opportunities for one-on-one learning experiences as well as outstanding networking opportunities.
This year's school will feature a broad range of instructor expertise, experience, and backgrounds to provide a pragmatic blend of technical training and industry insights. In addition to classes and workshops that will provide an outstanding learning experience, attendees will have the opportunity to personally meet with hydrocarbon industry measurement professionals who can offer practical advice and new ideas. Timely topics, including the measurement challenges associated with the burgeoning new shale plays such as Eagle Ford and Marcellus, will be integral to this year's program.
