(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with allergies to egg not to consume BioX brand Xtreme Power Whey Isolate powder and Protein Shot Recovery Blue Raspberry drink products described below. The affected products may contain egg which is not declared on the label.
The following BioX brand products are affected by this alert:
These products are known to be distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. However, they may have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported allergic reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg.
