Ocean View Condominiums, Residential Home Sites Along Emerald Coast to Sell in Centennial Bank Auction
(firmenpresse) - TALLAHASSEE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/12 -- Ocean view condominiums, commercial properties and dozens of residential home sites along the Emerald Coast will be sold at auction Thursday, April 12, with managing the sale.
The properties are currently owned by Arkansas-based Centennial Bank. All properties will sell absolute, with no minimum or reserve.
"Builders, individuals and developers are starting to see past the economic troubles of the last few years and are showing more interest in acquiring properties on which they can build new homes, condominiums and businesses," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.
The auction will begin at 1 p.m. at the Hotel Duval, Tallahassee.
Most of the properties are clustered near the coast from Panama City Beach to Carrabelle. Among them are two condominiums in the Preserve at Bay's Edge in Apalachicola. "These are very nice 1,354-square-foot units, built in 2006, each with two bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths."
The properties are being sold in approximately 55 groupings, according to Dixon. "We have a lot of home sites -- including several on or overlooking the water -- selling individually. Others are subdivision lots in groups ranging from two to 27 residential lots," said Dixon.
Commercial properties include a 19,621-square-foot commercial building/warehouse in East Point, as well as 3 acres of commercial land in Wewahitchka.
