CBS 3 and The CW Philly Host Third Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities(R) Phone Bank Tuesday, March 20th, 3 - 8 PM
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/12 -- CBS 3 (KYW-TV) and The CW Philly (WPSG-TV) will present the third annual "Ronald McDonald House Charities Phone Bank," a five hour on-air fundraiser for one of the Delaware Valley's most beloved charities, live across both stations tomorrow, Segments will air in newscasts, in commercial break time and in regular programming with one hour specials at both 3 and 7 p.m. Pledges can be made by credit card or check by calling the phone bank at during those hours or by texting the word to . Each text is a $10 donation.
All funds raised through the phone bank will directly benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region, a non-profit organization that creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children in our community.
Anchors and will host the event with special appearances by Anchor , Sports Director , Meteorologist and on-air personalities from the CBS RADIO stations in Philadelphia including , and of 98.1 WOGL's Breakfast Club, from Talk Radio 1210 WPHT and and of SportsRadio 94 WIP among others.
Philadelphia sports teams have teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities to offer an unprecedented line-up of Sixers, Phillies, Eagles and Flyers suites, tickets and autographed memorabilia as incentives for callers throughout the broadcast, including a rare opportunity to meet Phillies pitcher . Donors can visit to bid on these high-end incentive packages now through March 20th.
The "Ronald McDonald House Charities Phone Bank" is presented by the Tri-State Toyota Dealers Association and ConEdison Solutions.
