22nd Apprehension and 14th Removal of "Wanted by the CBSA" Individuals
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/15/12 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the apprehension of Johnny Cipriano Salazar Gonzales and the removal of Lorenzo Salvador Cid Guerra. Both are listed on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.
Johnny Cipriano Salazar Gonzales was apprehended by CBSA Inland Enforcement on March 13 in Cardston, Alberta. Salazar Gonzales is inadmissible to Canada because he has been convicted of trafficking in drugs in the United States. He is currently in CBSA custody.
Cid Guerra, who is inadmissible for organized criminality, was apprehended on March 3 by the Toronto Police Service as a result of a tip. He was removed from Canada on March 14.
To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 22 individuals in Canada; while four individuals were located abroad. Over a dozen of these individuals have now been removed from Canada.
Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
