Gaming Giants Announce Race Themed Happy Hour and Timed Tournament Promotions Throughout This Week's Cheltenham Horseracing Festival

This week sees the return of the Cheltenham festival, one of the most prestigious horseracing events in the National Hunt Racing calendar. Corresponding to the four days of intense racing action, held between 13th - 16th March, Sky Poker will be giving customers the chance to top-up their Poker Points and win cash prizes by playing poker in their 'Happy Hour' and 'Timed Tournament' events - two of the site's most popular promotions.

Timed Tournaments are played like regular multi-table tournaments. However Timed Tournaments give players a set amount of time (15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour) to accumulate poker chips. Once the time has elapsed, the prize money is then awarded to a player based on the number of chips they have won. So, for example, if a Sky Poker customer has entered a 30-minute Timed Tournament and accumulated 10% of the chips in play, that player will win 10% of whatever's valued in the prize pool.
