Premier Alliance Group, Inc. Selected by The Brigitte and Bobby Sherman Children's Foundation to Build First of Its Kind Musical Village in Ghana
(firmenpresse) - CHARLOTTE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/13/12 -- Premier Alliance Group, Inc. (OTCBB: PIMO), a professional services company focused on business and technology advisory and consulting services and solutions, announced that its recent acquisition, Greenhouse Holdings, has been engaged to provide project development and program management for a unique self-sustaining orphanage in Ghana that will house, feed, educate and provide basic medical care for up to 100 orphaned children from around the region.
This first of its kind Musical Village will not only provide all the basic needs children require for healthy development, but also their education will include a unique and marketable trade skill. With the help of Appiah "Kofi" Yeboah, a Master Drummer and maker, children from the orphanage and outlying villages will be taught how to make and play the Djembes drum, a traditional African, hand carved instrument. Empowering the children to improve their own lives once they leave is an essential part of the Musical Village's mission.
The Children's Foundation is employing Premier Alliance Group to insure that the village will be completely self-sustaining within 5 years. Power for the 5-acre facility will be generated from renewable resources using solar and wind. Land will be set aside for a small farm capable of producing enough food for the village itself, as well as to sell to other local villages with all proceeds going directly back to the BBSCF musical village. Additionally, the region's temperature and relative humidity are ideal for an innovative technology that will literally pull all the water the village requires directly from the moisture in the air.
