Verdi's Horror Film "Infected," Starring Michael Madsen, Will Hit Theaters This October; A Prequel, Which Features Madsen, Is Already in the Works

Loosies is being released tomorrow through Redbox, as DVD sales top 50 thousand buys to date. Due to the high volume in DVD sales and the film's release by Redbox, the company is now in the process of releasing a soundtrack with songs composed and performed by American Idol alumnus Paul McDonald.
which was released theatrically earlier this year by IFC, tells the story of Bobby (Peter Facinelli), a NYC pickpocket passing as a Wall Street stockbroker who roams the city looking for marks. He must face reality when an old fling informs him she's pregnant, and the baby is his. Suddenly, two different worlds collide, forcing Bobby to reevaluate a lifetime of missteps, and make a big decision about his future.
The film stars (Twilight, Nurse Jackie, The Scorpion King), (Thor, Rest Stop, Hallowed Ground), (Buffalo '66, The Brown Bunny, Tetro), (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2), and (Memento, The Matrix, The Fugitive). Facinelli is the screenwriter and a producer on the film (through his company Facinelli Films), alongside producers , and . The film was directed by (American Buffalo), with an original soundtrack composed and performed by , an original score by (Garden State), and music supervision by , head of music and talent for both Verdi Productions and the Woodhaven Production Company.
Verdi stated, "We've reached huge numbers in viewership and sales across all three of our films, and we are all very proud," adding, "I feel a soundtrack for Loosies will do very well in today's marketplace. Paul did such a great job for us."
This Halloween Verdi will be following up Loosies with his second horror film, "Infected" a zombie slasher, which features Michael Madsen (Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Reservoir Dogs) and William Forsythe as they battle zombies to the death.
