(OTCBB: ALRT) (the "Company"), a healthcare technology company, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an investor meeting after the market closes on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 4:30 PM EDT. The meeting will be conducted in a webinar format, including an investor presentation by Sidney S. Chan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at ALR Technologies, providing details on corporate developments and product launch of the Company's Health-e-Connect (HeC) system.
HeC has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for remote monitoring of patients in support of effective diabetes management programs. Senior executives at ALR Technologies have been making substantial headway in meeting with business leaders and policymakers nationwide to discuss the Company's innovative technology platform and how it can both improve outcomes for diabetes patients and curb healthcare spending while creating jobs in the United States.
