ParkPlus zones are exempt from snow route bans until 9:00 pm tonight
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/06/12 -- The would like to remind Calgarians that parking is available in all until 9:00 pm this evening.
Although a is in effect, vehicles parked on-street in ParkPlus zones may remain parked until 9:00 pm this evening. Vehicles with valid handicap permits parked in handicapped zones may remain parked at all times.
Vehicles parked outside these hours must be moved to facilitate snow clearing operations. Calgary Roads signage indicates no parking is allowed in ParkPlus zones from 21:00-06:00.
All signed CPA parkades and surface parking lots are offering free parking from 9:00 pm until 6:00 am the next morning during the snow route parking ban.
Vehicles left in a parking restricted area will be subject to enforcement measures up to and including a parking tag and tow.
The City of Calgary declared a snow route parking ban as of 9:00 am this morning. The parking ban will be in effect for the next 72 hours or until the City announces that it has been lifted.
