CENIT expands development site in Iasi, Romania
Major success with SAP business process solutions demands significant expansion of development capacities
(firmenpresse) - Stuttgart, 6 March 2012 - SAP PLM 7 pioneer CENIT is further expanding its long-standing involvement in Romania. The Software Engineering Center in Iasi provides an extension to the SAP development capacities for product and project development at the company’s Stuttgart headquarters. As an integral component of the international R&D segment, the Iasi team supports development and upgrades of CENIT’s standard products for the SAP environment. A further point of focus is the development of customer-specific add-ons to standard SAP products.
Over many years in a close development partnership with SAP AG, the CENIT team has evolved into a natural extension of the SAP development team. Sales of the jointly developed SAP price list product “SAP’s PLM Interface for CATIA V5” to more than 150 customers bear witness to the suc-cess of this partnership. On the basis of SAP PLM 7, CENIT has been expanding the existing SAP PDM solutions into cross-enterprise SAP PLM/ERP solutions for years. As a specialist for optimizing business processes in the manufacturing industry, CENIT supports the development of end-to-end business processes based on the intelligent process solution cenitCONNECT, the first process platform featuring full SAP PLM 7 integration.
CENIT has already been successfully active in Romania since 2006. “Our experiences with Romania as a development location have been exceedingly positive. The high motivation level and the strong commitment of our product development staff produce excellent results that regularly surpass even our stringent quality standards”, says Kurt Bengel, CEO of CENIT AG.
