Portland Rescue Mission Receives Blanket Donation

(firmenpresse) - PORTLAND, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 03/05/12 -- Portland Rescue Mission's Burnside Shelter received 1,250 heavy-duty blankets last week, thanks to the generosity of Jerry Apland of Grants Pass, Ore. The blankets, which arrived just in time for the cold snap, were transported to Portland, free of charge, by national less-than-truckload carrier Con-way Freight as a contribution to Portland's homeless community.
