The region, which includes populous cities Manchester and Liverpool, has been the focus of great economic and infrastructural redevelopment in recent years, as the government tries to generate growth away from London. reed.co.uk claims economic investment, which has been pumped into the region over the past 15 years, has allowed other sectors to prosper in the North West, creating job opportunities and of course increasing salaries.
