Farmers Insurance Names Mark J. Testa Head of Business Insurance Independent Agency Sales and Distribution
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/29/12 -- Mark J. Testa, a 25 year insurance veteran, has been named Head of Business Insurance Independent Agency Sales and Distribution for Farmers Insurance effective February 20.
"Mark has a strong record of success working with agencies in the independent distribution channel and we are confident he will continue to deliver strong results for us," said Bob Sadler, head of independent agency operations for Farmers Insurance. "We will count on him to continue the profitable growth of our business insurance across the country."
Prior to this most recent appointment, Testa served as vice president, national field operations, Zurich Small Business, leading agency segmentation and distribution initiatives. He has also served as vice president of Farmers Business Insurance where he was responsible for building and leading the Program Management Office (PMO).

Before joining Farmers, Testa worked for Cypress Insurance Group in Jacksonville, FL where he was senior vice president. Earlier in his career, he worked for Hanover Insurance Company in Atlanta as a regional vice president and as a field marketing vice president. He has a B.S. in Management from Keene State College, NH.
