Southwestern Mountain Vacation Destination Offers Plenty of New Attractions

In an attempt to forecast whether spring is on the way or if Durango is in for an additional six weeks of winter, Durango will host the 2nd Annual Tug-of-Weather. The "battle of the seasons" pits winter sports enthusiasts (i.e., ski bums) against the boys and girls of summer (i.e., river rats) in an official "tug-of-war."
Brix is a casual fine dining restaurant that will offer small plates, artisanal pizzas, fire-roasted meats and seafood prepared in 700+ degree stone hearth ovens. Owners are Michael and Birgitte Lutfy, former Executive Chefs for Michael Andretti's Indycar racing team. Contact 970-946-8036.
