BlueWater Advances to #21 in the Top 50 Systems Integrators List Released by "Systems Contractor News"
(firmenpresse) - SOUTHFIELD, MI -- (Marketwire) -- 02/29/12 -- , a national provider of Meeting & Event Technology, Digital Media Solutions, Audio Visual Integration, and Custom Fixtures and Displays, reported today 2011 revenue increased 25-percent and its workforce expanded by 35-percent over 2010, which is a direct result of new business across all divisions.
BlueWater's rapidly growing digital media division doubled in size in 2011, as current and new clients are looking for innovative technology solutions to better promote and engage new business. Over the course of the year, BlueWater developed nearly 40 custom solutions, including iPhone® and Android™-based apps, interactive and multi-touch gaming, lead generation technology, and mobile marketing solutions for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

"A significant part of our growth has been successfully integrating our digital media solutions with our other divisions, specifically our live events to help our clients more effectively promote new products through mobile tours and other major events."
For example, during this season's auto show circuit, BlueWater was charged with promotion that included a pre-registration microsite, social media integration, lead generation capabilities, and an interactive experience. Attendees who walked into the Mazda booth received badges with QR codes and bar codes to track valuable market research information about each attendee's actions within the booth. Whether the attendee participated in the driving simulator or accessed more information about a specific vehicle, the information was tied to the specific person for future business development opportunities.
The driving simulator offered attendees a true driving experience, and Mazda expanded its reach through the social media tie-in via BlueWater's photo capture technology. Photos taken during the simulator ride were available online so attendees could easily post to Facebook, Twitter or other social media platforms.

Attributing to the company's revenue growth, BlueWater's integration department grew approximately 30-percent and as a direct result moved up seven spots from #28 in 2010.
