Following 39 criteria, including hotel service and facilities, awards, location, environmental commitment, interior-outdoor design and decoration, and the hotel's marketing and website, the 20-person judging panel established the ranking of all participants. This year's judges included Rebecca Johnson (Bloomberg TV - Hotel Section), James Bacon (Google UK account manager), Mike McNamara (RBS: Royal Bank of Scotland), and David Dalby (RICS: Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors).
