Enterey Project Wins Process Improvement Award From Global 500 Biotech Company

Enterey Senior Consultant Austin Srejma led this project managing a team of over 20 in-house staffers at the biotech's U.S. headquarters. The goal was to streamline the process and the technology required to collect and deployment data when preparing and planning the production of drugs used in clinical trials. In doing so, the project maintained compliance with government regulations for documentation and quality.
"The new process requires less hands-on time while allowing the supply chain more agility in planning for production," said Ms. Srejma.
In keeping with Enterey's reputation for versatility, Ms. Srejma played multiple roles within the project including facilitating requirements workshops, performing financial analysis, creating an electronic data collection form, and managing implementation. By introducing a more efficient change control process, creating standardized templates, and redesigning the workflow to require input from fewer groups, the team was able to reduce by 50% the timeline required for the overall process from 118 days to 56. The key paperwork process was moved to an electronic platform and shortened from 13 to 2.5 pages, which drastically reduced the timeline for collecting data from 3 weeks to 5 days.
