Palo Alto and Los Altos Chiropractor Revamps Website and Adopts Social Media Presence
(firmenpresse) - LOS ALTOS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/19/12 -- Dr. Mary Reimer, the Palo Alto and who has run the Reimer Wellness Center for more than 28 years, recently launched the chiropractic center's redesigned website and connected to social media outlets Facebook and Twitter. She said this redesign is intended to give her and her patients new ways to connect with each other about health issues and educate the public about spinal health. According to the doctor, the website and social media locations were redesigned to have a unified look that better reflects the philosophy and atmosphere of the practice.
Dr. Reimer says she hopes that her patients will find value in the new website: "Our is very different from many other clinics. Our physical setting is a home rather than a 'clinic,' and we like our patients to feel like they are coming home when they visit us. We wanted the website to feel that way too. As a who focuses on and , the relationships we build with our patients are very important, so we wanted to extend that to the virtual world so they can feel that connection and support from us even when they aren't right here."
Dr. Reimer explains that another goal of the website is education. She points to an interactive feature called the "3D Spine Simulator", which is linked on the upper right side of each page on the site. Clicking on it takes visitors to an interface where they can select each individual vertebra in the spine to learn about how its positioning affects various nerves and organs within the body. Dr. Reimer says this feature has fascinated many of her patients here and in Mountain View because it shows them where the pain and/or problem is coming from at the root level.
The website features other aspects that Dr. Reimer hopes will make life easier for her patients. New patients in particular can save time during their first visit by going to the "New Patient" tab at the top of any page and selecting "online forms." New patients can print this necessary paperwork and fill it out before their appointment. She explains that this should provide more office time for personal interaction. Her current patients can also log in to , exclusive discounts and the doctor's regular newsletter.
Dr. Reimer says that they will also start a which will be connected to their and . She says she envisions the blog and social media connections as a fun way to interact with patients.
