Iplayco Announces Annual General Meeting Results
(firmenpresse) - LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/16/12 -- Iplayco Corporation Limited (TSX VENTURE: IPC) ("Iplayco" or the "Corporation") announces the results of its annual general meeting (the "Meeting") held on February 16, 2012. At the Meeting, the shareholders of the Corporation approved all resolutions placed before them by management, including the election of Franco Aquila, Scott C. Forbes, Terence E. Forbes, David L. Wood, Mark K. Neale, and David A. Perkins as directors of the Corporation, the re-appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Corporation's auditors and the ratification of the Corporation's Stock Option Plan.
At the first meeting of the newly constituted Board of Directors held immediately after the Meeting, the following individuals were appointed or reappointed as officers of the Corporation:
Franco Aquila, Chief Executive Officer
Scott C. Forbes, President
Max Liszkowski, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary
Terence E. Forbes, Executive Vice President
Also, the Board of Directors elected David A. Perkins as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the audit committee; David L. Wood, Mark K. Neale and Terence E. Forbes were also elected to the audit committee; Mark K. Neale (Chair), David A. Perkins, David L. Wood and Franco Aquila were elected as the compensation committee; David L. Wood (Chair), David A. Perkins, Mark K. Neale, and Scott C. Forbes were elected as the corporate governance committee. All three committees are comprised of a majority of independent directors.
