YouTube Viral Video Lands Producer a Motion Picture Deal With Camelot
'Deliver Me to Hell' Based on Short With Over 5.9 Million Views
(firmenpresse) - UNIVERSAL CITY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/15/12 -- Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) ("Camelot") announced today that Camelot Film Group and its distribution division, Camelot Distribution Group ("CDG"), will co-produce an interactive zombie comedy titled DELIVER ME TO HELL, about zombie filled streets where only delivery boys brave to save the world.
'HELL' is to be produced by New Zealand filmmaker Logan McMillan ("Last of the Living"), who originally created an interactive short to promote the pizza chain Hell's Pizza. It's an interactive adventure where the viewer chooses the path of characters and decides their fate. To date, the short has received over 5.9 million views on YouTube.
"I've worked with Logan on his first movie so I know his talent," says Jessica Kelly, Co-President of CDG. "When he pitched us the idea, it was too creative and refreshing to pass up. It might even be the beginning to a new line of interactive films for Camelot."
