Media Advisory/Visit to Quebec: Governor General to Meet With Students Who Stand Up to Intimidation During Quebec's Suicide Prevention Week
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/08/12 -- Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will undertake a visit to the official residence at the Citadelle of Quebec, on Thursday, February 9, 2012.
On the occasion of Quebec's Suicide Prevention Week, Their Excellencies will speak with students and teachers from Ecole secondaire de la Seigneurie who, together, have formed the TAX-I committee to denounce and stand up to bullying and intimidation in schools.
Their Excellencies will also focus on research, education and innovation as driving forces in the economic and social development of a community.
