Rancho Solano Private Schools Announces New State-of-the-Art Campus in Scottsdale
New Facility Will Incorporate Traditional Campus Feel With Latest Design Principles and Modern Amenities, Yielding Expanded Learning Opportunities for Students
(firmenpresse) - PHOENIX, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 02/07/12 -- (RSPS), the preeminent private school system in Phoenix and a member of the , has selected the site for its new state-of-the-art middle/high school campus in Scottsdale, which will be located at 9180 E Via De Ventura Blvd.
The new RSPS campus, Rancho Solano Ventura, will house grades 6-12 and offer the highest quality education available to Arizona students. The core elements of the strategy behind the new campus include: being the only private high school in Arizona to offer the acclaimed International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, achieving educational alignment for the campus' students as they pass from middle to high school; learning commons and multiple classrooms constructed in the Harkness method designed to facilitate student collaboration. Other noteworthy aspects of the new campus include outstanding athletic facilities comprised of a gym, full-size soccer/football field, lockers and weight rooms; as well as dedicated fine arts spaces.

To build out the new facility, RSPS partnered with , a nationally recognized architectural firm that specializes in campus and institutional projects. The plans for construction were created in collaboration with the RSPS and Meritas administration, as well as RSPS teachers, parents and students, to create the best possible learning environment.
"The new Rancho campus will be a culmination of everything we have learned about what it takes from an architectural and design perspective to make a school truly world class. As part of its five year strategic plan, Rancho Solano has been looking for a site for the new campus over the last year that offered the right mix of size, convenience, and flexibility. RSPS and Meritas selected the Via de Ventura site in December, 2011, and worked closely with the Salt River Pima Maricopa Community Council to finalize the deal earlier this year.
