Rocky Mountaineer Launches Newest Video: Canada Is Awesome (Boom De Yada)

Internationally acclaimed Rocky Mountaineer, known for its luxury rail journeys through Western Canada and the Canadian Rockies, is excited to announce the release of its newest promotional video, "Canada is Awesome (Boom De Yada)". Paying homage to Discovery Channel's popular "The World Is Just Awesome" campaign (using a rendition of the infectious camp song, "I love the Mountains- Boom De Yada"), the video takes viewers on a virtual train journey over canyons and gorges, along glacier fed rivers, shimmering lakes and through some of the most stunning scenery in the world.
"We wanted to create a campaign that would showcase the beauty of Western Canada while capturing the Rocky Mountaineer experience, complete with amazing scenery, exceptional service and the social atmosphere found onboard our rail journeys," says Hubert Wat, Vice President, Global Marketing of Rocky Mountaineer. Along with the catchy song and extensive videography, a few well-known Canadians make an appearance in the "Canada is Awesome" video including Jillian Harris, host of ABC's Extreme Home Makeover and former Bachelorette as well as John Furlong, former President and CEO of the Vancouver Olympic Committee during the 2010 Winter Olympics. The video follows the train through the Canadian Rockies, into British Columbia while featuring Rocky Mountaineer's luxurious GoldLeaf and SilverLeaf domed coaches and incredible cuisine available onboard.
