Chinese Government Backed Film Fund Offers Opportunities in Hollywood

Ltd., is the first specialized China film fund officially licensed by the Beijing government. The film fund will play a prominent role in China and Hollywood feature film business. Mr. Yang Bu Ting, former chairman of China Film Group, is currently chairman of China (government) Film Promotion International and the supervisor of China Film Foundation, serves as the Chairman of the film fund company.
The focus of the film fund will be to co-finance and co-produce the projects which have large box office potential in the world marketplace including China. These types of projects will allow more films to reach the ever-growing China market.
Fund backers include high profile investors such as the China Film Foundation, which is a government entity. Seasoned executives joining the fund's executive team and advisory board include Li Qian Kuan, Chairman of China Film Foundation; He Xiao Feng, a leading economist specializing in funds management and structuring in China and the Dean of Beijing University's Financing Department of economic school; Wang Guo Wei, the Vice Chairman of China Film Foundation; Liu Yuan, international media sales expert, former Siemens high-level executive, led Siemens 2 billion USD annual sales alone in China; and former JP Morgan Asia General Manager, Zhao Yuan Jun.
