(firmenpresse) - LAKE FOREST, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/31/12 -- Alex Williams, 43, joined Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions as Regional Sales Director for the company's southeast region, comprising the states of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. The announcement was made by Jack Waldie, Regional Sales Vice President.
Williams was hired to develop relationships with voluntary and employee benefits brokers and enrollment specialists, and strategize sales and enrollments in the southeast states for the Lake Forest, Ill.-based voluntary benefits provider. His office is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
"More employer groups in the southeastern states are turning to voluntary benefits to broaden their core benefits offerings and to meet the needs of their employees," said Williams. "I joined Trustmark, a market leader, because of the excellent sales potential its products offer brokers and enrollment firms in this part of the country, in particular."
Williams has more than 15 years of experience spanning a full spectrum of employee benefits -- voluntary and worksite benefits, medical, dental, disability and life insurance. Most recently he served as Regional Sales Manager at Allstate Benefits. Williams holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C.
