Gehry Technologies Names T. Michael Nevens to Board of Directors
McKinsey & Company Veteran Brings Consummate Expertise in Both Consulting and Technology
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/31/12 -- (GT), a leader in and consulting services, today announces that has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors.
From 1980 until 2002, Nevens held various leadership positions at McKinsey & Company, including managing partner of the Global Technology Practice. He was a partner on the team that founded McKinsey's Silicon Valley office in Palo Alto in 1987 and worked out of that office until his retirement in December 2002. He also served on the board of the McKinsey Global Institute, which conducts research on international economic and policy issues.

In addition to his position on the GT Board of Directors, Nevens is currently a senior advisor to Permira, a multibillion-dollar international private equity fund with 21 billion euros of funds under management and also serves on the boards of directors for NetApp, Altera and Active Video Networks. Nevens is also active in philanthropic work, and currently serves as the president of the board of trustees of the San Jose Museum of Art. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, where he has been an adjunct professor of Corporate Governance and Strategy.
