Air Mobility Command to Deploy AtHoc Emergency Communication and Mass Notification System at Eight Air Force Bases Nationwide as Enterprise System

(), the pioneer and leader in , today announced that the Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC), a Major Command (MAJCOM) of the U.S. Air Force headquartered at Scott AFB in Illinois, will deploy its at eight AMC bases across the U.S. through a contract with Reliable Government Solutions. Today's announcement marks 120 USAF bases -- almost all active-duty and reserve AF bases covering hundreds of thousands of airmen around the world -- that will have selected AtHoc as their emergency mass communications platform.

The AMC deployment will be via a highly cost-efficient, centralized architecture, which will assure enterprise-wide consistency and reduce ongoing sustainment costs. Such deployments deliver significant benefits:

According to AMC officials, the system procurement was driven in part as a proactive measure to help mitigate events such as the tragic Fort Hood, Texas shooting incident, but will be key to notifying base personnel during all types of emergencies. In addition, the installations will align emergency communications and alert notification procedures across all AMC bases and provide reliable, real-time notification in a more consistent fashion.

AtHoc IWSAlerts™ is an emergency communications and mass notification system that also provides personnel accountability in a report documenting who was notified and when and if they acknowledged.
