The partnership combines iPad Enclosures' robust tablet mounts and stands with the , a small and lightweight portable barcode reader, and the , a version of the scanner that has been certified by Apple for the iPad and other iOS devices. The combined solution makes it practical for businesses to deploy the Apple iPad in both mobile and kiosk-based applications by preventing theft and tampering of the iPad, protecting the iPad during heavy use, and adding commercial-grade rapid and robust 1D and 2D barcode scanning capabilities critical to many mobile business applications.
