NSI Publishes New E-Book for Nail Technicians
Clarifying Confusing Nail Service Terminology
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/12 -- A new e-book titled "The Enlightened Tech: An Indispensable Guide to Clarifying Nail Service Terminology" is available on the NSI web site to help nail technicians across the globe. Set up in dictionary form, the e-book contains numerous nail service terms that are used in the professional beauty industry with corresponding definitions that are clear and to-the-point. Like their previous e-book, "Building Your Clientele in 6-9 Months," NSI is making the book available -- free of charge -- to any professional nail technician who is registered on their web site -- .
"I set out in creating this e-book when I noticed how many confusing terms were being thrown about the nail industry. I thought, 'If those of us in the industry are puzzled, imagine how the poor clients feel!' This is our attempt at clarification," said Jessie Burkhardt, Director of Marketing & Communications. With new categories of products, new techniques, and a new generation of technicians changing the way we talk about nail services, the idea was to create a guide to nail service terms that are used on a regular basis, like "hard gel" or "gel polish." The company hopes that offering this free material will show their commitment to providing the highest level of education for nail technicians.
