Modern Wallpaper and Bold Fabrics Key Elements in Contemporary Suite

This year's world-class contemporary Showcase is at an exclusive Belvedere location, boasting 180 degree views of the San Francisco Bay Area. The NY Suite designed by Kriste, as well as the entire home, can be viewed January 31 through February 26.

The Suite was designed for a sophisticated woman, a place where she can relax, listen to music, or read a book. wall treatment by was the inspiration for the room. The graphic modernity of the wallpaper mixed with an ikat, geometric and linen fabric bring the design together to create texture and interest on the surrounding walls. The room is bold with contemporary flirty fabrics including turquoise, black, purple, white, and chartreuse. A key focal point of the room is the canopy and window treatments with white linen fabric, edged with black banding. The walls are accessorized with distinctive art from various artists.
The Marin Designers Showcase at Villa Belvedere will be open to the press on Monday, January 30th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Kriste Michelini will be available to speak with the press and showcase the contemporary NY Suite.
