Midland Veterinary Clinic Supports Exotic Animal Welfare With Non-Profit Organization "Peeps and Creeps"

Founded in 2007, Peeps and Creeps supports a . Veterinarian Dr. Jessica Todia is licensed for wildlife rehabilitation. Since its founding in 2007, Peeps and Creeps has provided care for a variety of exotics, including , reptiles, small pocket pets, tortoises, turtles, ferrets and spiders.

Dr. Todia holds a , and together with Peeps and Creeps, she has helped rehabilitate fawns, birds of prey, and a baby mountain lion. She also provides care for the surrendered animals.

Midland pet owners who are no longer able to provide care for their exotics may surrender these animals to Peeps and Creeps.





"Our mission is to provide a loving and humane sanctuary when owners are no longer able to do so," said Dr. Todia. "Recent tragedies, like the October 2011 slaughtering of exotic animals in Ohio, are an important reminder that all animals deserve to be cared for with proper animal husbandry. When owners are no longer able to care for their exotics, Peeps and Creeps is here to help."

Peeps and Creeps is also a 501(c)(3) parrot welfare organization with an entire aviary room that is licensed to provide rehabilitation, long-term foster care and sanctuary care. The organization helps rescue and promote educational outreach about the needs of parrots.
