O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama to Turbocharge Three Days of Cars and Competition at Dallas Market Hall
(firmenpresse) - DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 01/24/12 -- The 52nd Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama will kick into high gear with extreme competitions, one-of-a-kind exhibits and hundreds of customized rides from Friday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, Feb. 19. One of the longest running and largest indoor auto shows in America, AutoRama will fill Dallas Market Hall with the finest Hot Rods and powerful muscle cars in the area.

"Enthusiasts in the DFW area won't want to miss the coveted vintage automobiles and contemporary performance cars that will be on display. Feature cars, one of the main attractions for AutoRama goers, include the 2011 Camaro Transformers Special Edition. Built exclusively for the filming of Transformers 3, this vehicle's flashy yellow paint and bold black stripes are branded with Autobot Shield logos. For visitors looking for craftsmanship from a different decade, the Dean Jeffries' "Mantaray" is a must-see. Custom built in 1963 with a 289 Cobra engine, its distinct frame and eye-catching bubbletop lands it among the world's most famous hot rods.
In addition, attendees can make a pit stop to see the BASF 1957 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, redesigned by Chip Foose, and a Factory Five Racing '33 Coupe.
After viewing this year's featured lineup, AutoRama guests can check out special exhibits including the 'Ol Skool Rodz' presented by Outcasts Car Club that will showcase traditional Hot Rods honoring the '50s and '60s. Vintage race cars from the '60s will be on display by Drag City USA while enthusiasts looking for some expert advice on how to restore and fine tune a custom ride can visit Meguiar's Car Care Tips during all three days of the show.

The 52nd annual O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama in Dallas is sponsored by O'Reilly Auto Parts and is part of the Summit Racing Show Car Series.
