Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Highlight Historic Trip to Complete Full Circle Journey for North America's Plains Bison
(firmenpresse) - FORT SASKATCHEWAN, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/20/12 -- Mr. Earl Dreeshen, Member of Parliament for Red Deer, with representatives from American Prairie Foundation, will celebrate the transfer of 70 plains bison from Elk Island National Park, Alberta, to American Prairie Reserve, on the Great Plains north of the Missouri River in north eastern Montana (U.S.A).
Mr. Dreeshen will take part in this media opportunity on behalf of the Honourable Peter Kent, Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada.

The details are as follows:
Interviews and photo opportunities will take place outdoors at Elk Island's Plains Bison Handling Facility area. Parking is available at the Elk Island National Park Visitor Centre. Allow approximately ten minutes to walk from the Visitor Centre.
