WABCO Wins New Contract in Brazil with Leading Maker of Diesel Engines for Commercial Vehicles; Supplies Innovative Driveline Control Technology

(NYSE: WBC) (), a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, has entered into a new agreement with a leading Brazilian manufacturer of diesel engines for commercial vehicles worldwide. WABCO will supply innovative exhaust brakes for a range of truck engines that meet Euro V emission standards.
The new engines equipped with WABCO exhaust brakes will be featured on a medium duty truck in series production at a factory in Brazil operated by a major global manufacturer of commercial vehicles headquartered in Europe.
WABCO's advanced exhaust brake technology controls the engine's ability to push out compression, thus improving braking power and performance while increasing braking efficiency over the vehicle's full range of speed. It also significantly extends the lifetime of the vehicle's brakes. In addition, WABCO exhaust brakes operate silently, helping to lower the vehicle's noise level.
